Loutrophoros-hydria decorated in the black-figure technique. It was found in 1957 in the Sanctuary of the Nymphe in many fragments and was pieced together and restored.

On the neck of the vase a procession of women is depicted. They are all clad in peplos and himation and the last one is holding a lotus flower. On the vase’s body the decoration is organised in zones depicting Sirens and nine birds. The lowest part of the body is decorated with rays, while the rim and handles are accentuated by a wavy line.

The vase-painter who created this loutrophoros has been influenced by Lydos.
